Pass Through?  What's that?

The Motherboard Zone® has built its business model on "virtual inventory" to expedite the delivery of your goods and to help keep our costs low!  Using this model we drop ship most items directly from wholesale distribution centers around the country.  These distributors, in compliance with the laws in the States of California and Massachusetts, charge us extra for taxes due on orders dropped shipped to these states.  We in turn "pass-through" these costs to our customers who ship to these States.

Personally, we think this taxation model is restrictive and unfairly punishes the folks shipping goods to these States;  This "tax the internet" philosophy is a growing one among politicians who see an opportunity to "tax early" or lose public support for taxing internet commerce at all.  If you agree with us that this is not what we want for the Internet, you need to let your voice be heard in each and every election cycle to help keep e-commerce "free" for everyone.
